Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

We're on the road to Atlanta for fencing nationals, and I'd like to state for the record that the stretch between Greensboro and Charlotte is so dull it should be ceded to South Carolina immediately. And as such, IT IS TOO FUCKING MIDDLE OF NOWHERE for this random traffic jam. Is Belinda conspiring with Tino or something?

(Also, I will make obscene gestures at Tino as we go by the appropriate exit in a couple of hours for anyone who needs it.)

Glad you are safe, tommy! Hooray for helmets. Sounds like you were doing an homage to the last couple of days of the Tour!

I'm sitting in the waiting room waiting for Bob's takedown surgery to be over (report from the OR is that it's going well). To distract myself I'm looking for silver shoes for wedding i'm going to this weekend. I need help deciding which to buy. Flats:

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Nah, we have not yet made it to the SC border on account of we are going to die of old age in Salisbury.

(Do people elsewhere know the wonders of the Gaffney Peach? It's the sole claim to fame of Gaffney SC, and is a municipal water tower in the shape of a very realistic peach, which because of it's cleft and fleshy realism looks quite a lot like it's mooning the interstate.)

Edit because nooning the interstate is a whole different level of obscene.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I like the first wedges best, too.

Hee!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

If they didn't before, they do now! Behold the giant skyward booty. [link]

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I also like the first wedges.

Readers, I ordered the first wedges! I hope that they upgrade to overnight shipping like they usually do. I dithered a lot about finding shoes for this thing.
