Does anyone else play sneezies on iphone and compare it to a plague that spreads through sneezing? And then ponder how quickly one little sneeze can spread to so many innocents and wipe everyone out in a short period of time? And then consider the possibility that the only reason the little sneezie blobs are smiling after they sneeze is because even though they can't talk, they're thinking, "braaaaiiinnnns"?

I do not play iphone sneezies but I do drink lots and lots of wine. In fact, I probably should cancel at least one of my wine memberships (Bonny Doon is one most likely to get heave-ho!).

We're going to see plays. I haven't been to Ashland since the late 90s and megan's never been. How far from Ashland to Portland? I know I've done the drive but it was long ago.

It is exactly 62 degrees in San Francisco. It is always 62 degrees in San Francisco.

Cooking tonight, I couldn't get the flavors right in my chili. I corrected for this and I corrected for that and got fairly unorthodox in my corrections (though trusting my palate for balance) and right about when I thought I'd ruined it...it came out great. Better than usual. Though I don't think I could recreate it.

Tonight I introduced my neighbors to the Squirrel Cop episode of This American Life and Matilda played happily with Emmett's Pirate Playmobils for a couple hours. We're now onto The Emperor's New Groove.

Go. Just go. He's delightful. And smart as hell.

I am going to be at one of the events he (and about a zillion other bar chefs) will be bartending at.
