Also, I figured out why I didn't see the pothole. It wasn't the usual kind with missing chunks of pavement. The pavement had deformed over a small area, forming a fairly deep depression. It's the kind of 3-D shape my brain would be unable to figure out due to my poor vision in one eye.

Yeah, you don't have to lose consciousness to get a concussion. Five or so concussions down the line I can say that with no little authority.

I would also recommend getting checked out. I know from my kitty mauling that shock, for me at least, seems to manifest itself by me thinking I am fine!
