Gah, went out to water the plants. Broke a sweat, and it wasn't from exertion.

I am doing mail forwarding this week. I may have them send the replacement to my realtor who lives upstairs.
5 of my 15 auctions are selling. Whoot!
Oh, that's convenient!
So tomorrow after I swim, eat and shoot the cat, I guess I need to head to the hardware store, huh?
Okay, just looked up a tonic water recipe. No wonder that ish is expensive.
I just looked up recipes. Thank you, Jeffrey Morgenthaler.
Holy moley folks, now I want to make ice cream. And I am pretty sure DH bought a pint of heavy cream too. Well dang. It really SHOULD be done.
My kids are pretending to have broken feet. Egad. Cute but worrisome.
I keep finding new injuries. You know, I'm kinda' amazed I didn't break anything - the force of the impact was much heavier than the times I slipped on ice and broke bones... but then both those times my body weight (or much of it) all landed at one point.
tommy, you might want to get checked out. With my dad's worst accident, he was transported in an ambulance to the ER after regaining conciousness, had a full check out, and still they missed a broken pinky hand bone (I think they were more concerned with the scraped off face and head trauma...) He didn't even notice it for a few days. Ended up healing wrong even after being casted and he had to have it rebroken and pinned.
So...don't be like my dad.
The police offered to call an ambulance. I considered it. But I was fully conscious the whole time. I also moved all my fingers, twisted my wrists, etc.
Also, I figured out why I didn't see the pothole. It wasn't the usual kind with missing chunks of pavement. The pavement had deformed over a small area, forming a fairly deep depression. It's the kind of 3-D shape my brain would be unable to figure out due to my poor vision in one eye.

After my car accident just about this time last year? Same thing. Didn't even bump my head. Yeah, concussion.
And that's not something you want to learn several days after the fact. I'd recommend getting checked out. I was spectacularly lucky but I don't endorse it.
