I think sodastream sells a tonic flavor. And their stuff is sweetened with sugar and Splenda, not hcs and aspartame. They should pay me! I`m such a salesman!

I am getting a little concerned that I need to get an air conditioner for my cat.

You can buy fancy cooling beds for pets. Don't know how much they cost, and it wouldn't make you any cooler.

Oh, and I added a chicken breast and water chestnuts to my dinner. Not the best thing ever, but it's doing the job. tommyrot, I need a high-protein diet so I'm careful about having a source in every meal.

I just peeled my stair railing. I wish I was joking. Baseball sized wad of latex paint. It's ugly. But I figure the ugly will motivate me to get it stripped and repainted. God knows how many layers are under that. I know there is a blackish layer somewhere in there.

It might if I laid on it with my cat! I will look I just hate to run the air conditioner all day if I am not home, and it is only 2 - 3 times a year that it gets this bad.

The other day when it was 82 or so in my apt, my cat tried to sit on my laptop. She does that because it's warm.

Sophia, a lot of units (most?) come with an energy saver mode, so they cycle on and off at whatever temp you set it to. My monster units do this. When I was out of town for the first heat wave, I left it set at 78, and not only was the bedroom comfortable, it did keep the rest of the house from getting too vile.

I have the cheapest a/c available, and it does not have a thermostat.

My smallest (cheapest) doesn't have one either, but were I to do this again, I would get one with a thermostat.
