Natter 66: Get Your Kicks.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I would be more worried about my cat having no appetite if I had an appetite. I had seriously eaten toast for 2 days. Of course, I wanted lunch at work because it was air conditioned, and now I feel like crap (possibly cafeteria veal parmesan for $3.00 is not the wisest choice).
Also, if any of the pharm buffistas are around, I ended up getting a different generic Celexa (40mg) this time (there was a note to tell me it was the same medicine). I am noticing a HUGE difference in how my body processes it, and it seems to work MUCH MUCH better. In fact, I had no idea how badly the other one was working until this one. It seems to be related to the time it takes to get through my body- the other generic had me having withdrawal symptoms an hour or two before the next dose. Anyway, is there any way to request a specific generic? Does this make any logical sense?
on the bright side, kitty is much less lethargic - almost normal. she even met me at the door and was thinking of making a run for it
We made mint chip ice cream just in the kitchenaid. It is freezing now. Be done now, ice cream!
Javachik, I have this one. They also make a 1-qt version, but when I bought it I was using up a gift certificate.
(Answering over in this thread because I'm pretty sure this is where we were talking ice cream!)
Oh, whoops, I think Sox mentioned sorbet in Spike's and I thought she was continuing the theme. Thanks!!
So, I was asking y'all what you use for ice-cream, fro-yo, and sorbets?
:::off to check out Jess's link:::::
And now I wanna know which Sodastream model y'all are buying too! I am nosy today.
I don't use a machine for sorbets.
I have the plastic one - I think it's called the Fountain Jet or something? But most Buffistas seem to have The Penguin, which is all sleek and pretty and comes with glass bottles.
I don't really like any of the syrups they sell, but then I don't much like most "real" sodas either.
A long time ago I bought a boyfriend an old fashioned soda water dealie. It was cool. Maybe I just need one of those. I really only want to make home-made diet tonic water because I go through it so fast and it's not cheap.
ETA: Okay, just looked up a tonic water recipe. No wonder that ish is expensive.
Ooooh, Jess, that maker looks perfect. And I happen to have one of those Bed, Bath and Beyond 20% off certs in my bag today. Hmmmmm...
Loki and Devi are sprawled on the floor of the HOTTEST ROOM IN THE HOUSE. Loki's on his back, legs splayed so the world can admire his tiny fuzzy balls. Dudes, if you are that hot, there are 6 other rooms much cooler!
I think sodastream sells a tonic flavor. And their stuff is sweetened with sugar and Splenda, not hcs and aspartame. They should pay me! I`m such a salesman!
