I had never seen it before. It is hilarious.
I was making progress on stuff before, but I have hit a wall and just keep looking around at stuff. so much stuff.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, pandas, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Ugh, I hate that feeling.
Pizzacone is a new Manhattan restaurant where you can buy the contents of a pizza stuffed into a cone:
The dough cones are shipped to Pinto daily from a Connecticut bakery, and each Pizzacone is made to order at the counter; you tell them what ingredients to add, and then it’s cooked in the oven for five minutes. The result, according to one early guinea pig, is as convenient as it is delicious. “Tastes like a pizza,” Victor Nelli, a TV producer, tells the Daily News. “You can totally walk with it, and you don’t have the oil dripping all over you.”
Man, we had that in Queens last year! It's Brazilian.
I am packed, and showered, and the apartment is cleanish!
I still need to get dressed, but I have 25 minutes for that.
GO ME.
Go you!!
I just printed out some pictures for my grandmother. My cheapo printer does a shockingly good job.
Happy birthday Frank!
Took Isaac to a birthday party at a small amusement park in Buena Park today. I am so tired I can barely function. Pathetic. AND I forgot to tivo Scrappy and DH so now I am bummed.
so tired.
I'm sore. Guess going in for 2 1.5+ mile days after not swimming for 10 takes its toll. Or that extra quarter did it.
Dear Loki- It is a little warm for spooning.
Practically had a block party earlier, checking out the Sarah's porch progress (story: when I left on the 17th, she had applied paint stripper. When I returned, it had gone from a paint job to a reconstruction one: paint was holding the pillars together in places, crammed in newsprint in others, facia was completely rotten...so she's basically rebuilding most of it. And doing a good job.)
Everyone was returning from various endeavors (I was unloading my trunk) and we just all congregated and caught up. It's almost surreal.
OMG FNL. Killing me as usual.
I forgot to TiVo it too. I will have to check it out on the HGTV web site.
Had lunch at Urth Caffe on Melrose with Polgara. She doesn't get why I like that place, but even though it's always full and there's a long wait for food, the food is tasty and the people are the funniest. The last two times I was left alone at my table I ended up in conversations with my neighbours, and this time was especially hilarious. Jamaican guy with no filter who'd been thinking no one had understood his phone conversation.
He continued to be cutely unfiltered when Polgara came back to the table.
We left him alone to bask in the view of the womenfolk of SoCal. I think he was going to quite enjoy himself. Urth Melrose is a good people-watching platform. It's why it's my Urth of choice, even though the ones in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills are nearer.
Going out for lunch with Polgara blew my long weekend wad. I've nothing but time to kill between now and my ER visit--the key is to minimise how much pain meds I use. Gonna be dicey. Must finish this disc of The Wire, though. And put up some pictures. And keep sketching, if the pain allows.
