"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Frank! I hope it's as thrilling and colorful as Suspiria. Not really. Nobody needs that kind of thrill.

DH is looking to pin down a word that describes something that has value beyond intrinsic.

Extrinsic value! Or the dreaded (in baseball stats circles) "intangibles." Uh....Peripheral value.

Emmett had his 53rd "Best Day Ever" as I took him and all his money from umpiring this year to the Lego Store (half an hour south of SF at the Hillsdale Mall) and he dropped $200+ on four Lego sets.

Then he declared Hillsdale Mall his personal paradise because it also had a Sweet Shop (where he got a fantastic selection of gummy stuff, including Gummy Orcas), and was sorely tempted by Hot Topic (Invader Zim shirts), Lids (baseball hats), and Winners (baseball jerseys).

Then we went to In-N-Out and he was blissfully happy.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

DH is looking to pin down a word that describes something that has value beyond intrinsic.

In an accounting context it could be "intangible"?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Happy Birthday, Frank!

I had the occasion to look thru my Snowpocalypse photos. Holy hell. I forget how much snow that was. Hard to imagine now. Even with all the windows open and cool, cool air circulating.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I was just thinking today how easy it is to discount the coldness of winter when it's 90 degree outside.

Deb, yep. And I like the heat! It's just hard to imagine my deck completely full of snow to the railings for WEEKS when I am sitting here in a tank and short shorts. And yet I lived it and it ended up bringing me great things.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I think it was anti icky poo, actually now that I searched more. Sophia, with the vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, what do you put down first?

I need to do a cleaning of some areas after the movers clear this place out, then I want to be stocked with stuff at the new house. 4 rooms are carpet and I FEAR that Oz is going to be trouble.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Happy Birthday Frank!

hip deep in pie

Happy Birthday Frank!

Msbelle, there's a Cdn company called Nature Clean has a product that's peroxide based that's great for urine. (It took a few tries but it got rid of a persisitant urine smell on my steps.) It also does well on cat puke. But it has fadedmy sisal rug in places. [link]

Also, if there's a Scrappy show DVD mail chain, put me on the list!
