Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

Between Sarah Palin joining Fox, and Mark McGwire admitting to use steroids, I read that yesterday should be declared National "No Shit?" day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

True.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

Having Palin on Faux News is perfect because it means she won't be on the road book touring or campaigning and will therefore disappear from all the other news networks! I'll only ever have to see her in short clips on TDS/Colbert!

Why Light Makes Migraines Worse

Migraine sufferers often retreat to a dark room or pull the shades down. Any light just makes the searing pain worse. Now, scientists think they know why--thanks to some help from blind volunteers.

Coding and Sleeping

Palin and Fox, you always knew those two would get together.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks for that article, Tom.

hip deep in pie

Back at work after taking Clio to vet. She has a dislocated tail which seems to be healing on it's own. Vet wants me to keep the cats separated for 2-3 weeks to give her time to heal. That shall not be fun.

I also have some weird pain in my stomach/side/back that I can't figure out the source of, but it kept me up for many hours last night. I can barely keep my eyes open. Later today I have a dentist appt. but right now my dentist's office is without power. It's one of those pull the cover of your head and stay in bed kind of days.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Ugh Sue. I'm sorry you are having such a Polar Bear Day.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Beer Soap

Two things we know to be true: Being dirty is bad and beer is good. Therefore, handmade soap made from beer must be goodness squared, right? Yes!

The line of hand made cold processed soaps are made using real beer. Don’t worry, they don’t smell like a day-old frat party. In fact, they’re all pretty light and refreshing. And they’re natural, too, so they don’t contain any artificial hardeners, synthetic surfactants or foam inducers like commercial and industrial soaps.

Anybody remember that shampoo made with beer?

Cynthia Sylvia Stout from Lush? Love it.
