After all, Colin was being considered for the role of Edward's father.
OMGWTFPOLARBEAR? Wow. Just ... wow. The mind boggles.

Colin? Really? That would have added a whole 'nother twist to the movie viewing experience.
The guy they chose to play pere Cullen looks freakishly like a 70s department store mannequin come to life. I find it very hard to square the huge gap between the description of the vampires' beauty in the novel and the look of the actors playing them on screen.
I would have laughed for a week. But then I'd have had to see the movie in the theatres.
That is AWESOME to know, ita!
Heh.
Re Twilight: I am not sure Kristen Stewart has any range, but I think she is terribly convincing as a repressed teenager. She is rumored to be a lesbian, and I really want her to get together with Ellen Page.
Peter Facinelli is way too young, and uh, brunet, to convincingly play a blond father of (four)? But honestly it is hard to notice him when this guy: [link] is lurking about. Colin probably doesn't need the agita of being part of the franchise, but I'm sure he'd like the money!
I think my tv just died.

But he's not their real father. He just plays one in Forks as a cover.
Wow, I know more about Twilight than I want to.
Oh, my god, ita. Watching Colin play vampire baseball would have had me in tears. I mourn the loss of such a prime mocking opportunity.

Ahahaahahahaha!
Tho, watching him in the (to quote Cleolinda) the revival of the Interview With A Vampire scene in the second movie would have been comedy GOLD.

I agree bon. She's a far more interesting Bella than the one in the book, but that could just be the lack of internal monologue: "Oh no! Look I just aged another day. A whole 'nother day! I'm so old now. Oh look, there's Edward! He's so perfect. I love it when he lurks outside my house like that."
