Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh msbelle, I'm sorry to hear about last night. {[hugs}}

I've been doing what I can to get ready for the start of the semester tomorrow. Of course the one thing I should have done--taken down the tree--haven't done. I know it sounds silly, but I find it a bit depressing to take down the Xmas stuff. But I'll regret it if I keep letting it go.

Our wings are not tired.

It's not silly at all, Burrell! Mine is still up, too.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I hope for calmness to descend for at least long enough for you to recharge, msbelle.

Since this is the sick pet thread, I'll mention that Mr Peabody woke me up at about 4 a.m., curled up in a ball and apparently trying desperately to not have diarrhea inside. He had made a small stain on his bed. I practically carried him outside and he went, then he seemed terrified and wouldn't come to me or come inside. (Note: It was 12 degrees F at the time.) I got more clothes for me and his leash and a dog biscuit and finally coaxed him in. I've had other indications that his near-perfect house training was cruelly won. Today he's all full of piss and vinegar, so I guess it was something he ate.

Bev, I think Clio is already has a little more movement. Her tail was aloft breifly when I gave her supper. But, barring a miraculous overnight recovery, I am going to call the vet in the morning.

Poor Mr. Peabody! One of my cats had the runs in the fall, but had the courtesy to only poop in the unfinished part of the basement, if not in the litter box.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Yay, Clio!

And poor Mr. Peabody. Pet his head for me--or wherever his favorite skritch spot is. No, not there. Um.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Turnstiles would be a huge problem with luggage and wheelchairs and those huge carts they drive around for assitance in airports.

The video clips I watched showed the guy getting turned away and standing back, watching, then taking the opportunity to slip past the agent. I figured he was trying hang out with someone who had a layover. Didn't realize he just wanted to kiss his girlfriend goodbye. What an ass.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Seriously. Tino level assishness.

I was very productive this morning--went to TJs, and then to the laundromat to wash several of my comforters and blankets.

Since then though, I've done nothing but remake my bed and watch Chuck.
