Wash: So, two days in a hospital? That's awful. Don't you just hate doctors? Simon: Hey. Wash: I mean, present company excluded. Jayne: Let's not be excluding people. That'd be rude.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Actually, megan took BART and then a cab to java's house.

Was the pneumatic tubeway closed for repairs? I hear toddlers get stuck in it all the time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I had a nice brunch with my extended family (I ate a delicious skillet breakfast -- eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, sausage, cheese, all cooked in perfect-size cast iron skillet), then did some shopping (victorious re: jeans). Now I am chillaxing, and later I have a date.

hip deep in pie

It's a real problem Steph. Parents stuff a couple of them in there at once and suddenly the whole system comes to a halt.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Do you really want to play this game?

All of my retorts will be bacon related.

A date with a boy I met off OK Cupid. Dinner and possible dancing, possibly meeting up with his friends. Eek.

So, then what? They have to poke in there with a broomstick until the toddler current is running unimpeded again?

Sheesh, these newfangled pneumatic tubeways sure are a lot of trouble! Best just to wait for flying cars. I hear they'll be along any day now.

Unrelatedly, we have gone to Up For Grabs Day, where The Boy got a fully functional, barely used flatscreen monitor. Nice.

And I think I may nap before Mexican and bowling.
