I had French toast with maple syrup. And I went out and tromped around the snow. I also tried to take the cat for a walk in the snow. He didn't like it at all. Not terribly surprising, but given that he likes playing in water it seemed worth a shot.
Now for lunch. I have split pea soup in the crock pot, but that won't be ready for hours. I'm thinking burritos. And maybe a glass of red wine, 'cause I'm sure not driving anywhere.
I know it's not Friday, but what are people doing this weekend?
Today I have to run errands and then clean before I do some work, then tomorrow I have to go into work.
There will be sushi and booze and and S1 of Criminal Minds and inside pants along the way though.
I am having a toasted raisin English Muffin and a delicious Diet Dr, Pepper. Today I am doing yard work--going to take the non-working pump out of the fountain. I am going to replace it with plants and hope it'll look nice. I love a fountain, and our realtor gave it to us, but just we can't keep it working and those pumps are expensive, yo. It'll be a surprise for J when he gets home from Texas next week.
P.S.--ita, how are you? I hope the migraine broke a little, or at least that you are back from the ER.
I'm finishing up some editing today, and tonight S. and I are going out to eat and to see Up in the Air, because Sherlock Holmes is already gone, damn it.
Tomorrow is hair color, more editing, and probable slounging.
Work. Then I got roped into going to a Mary Kay party tomorrow.
I'm having scrambled tofu on an English muffin. I've finally figured out that the secret to good scrambled tofu is using the really cheap tofu from Trader Joe's -- the more expensive stuff just doesn't work right.
I'm catching up on tv I've missed for one reason or another. Bones, White Collar, Sanctuary. Then I may watch some Due South with my neighbors. It's mediariffic.
Tonight I am going to friends to watch a screener off Blind Side. Tomorrow, laundry, cleaning house and a few hours work at my office.
I'm playing with WordPress and seeing if I can satisfactorily adapt it to be a CMS for my friends' little design gallery that she can easily update with her small catalog of a couple dozen designs.
