I mean, let's say you did kill us. Or didn't. There could be torture. Whatever. But somehow you found the goods. What would your cut be?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm having scrambled tofu on an English muffin. I've finally figured out that the secret to good scrambled tofu is using the really cheap tofu from Trader Joe's -- the more expensive stuff just doesn't work right.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm catching up on tv I've missed for one reason or another. Bones, White Collar, Sanctuary. Then I may watch some Due South with my neighbors. It's mediariffic.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Tonight I am going to friends to watch a screener off Blind Side. Tomorrow, laundry, cleaning house and a few hours work at my office.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'm playing with WordPress and seeing if I can satisfactorily adapt it to be a CMS for my friends' little design gallery that she can easily update with her small catalog of a couple dozen designs.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Today I had Intro Bio for 2 1/2 hours (I hate this class a lot). Now I am eating t checks box Coconut Ginger Noodles. Once I'm done, I'll go down to the theatre and help paint. No plans for this evening. Tomorrow, the choir sings in the morning, and I help with a light hang at 8 pm, no idea what between there, apart from I need to prep for class on Monday.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I've got the kids at gymnastics this morning. We ate scrambled eggs.

I need to shop for Liv's birthday party on Sunday.

My van still isn't fixed. Grrrr.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Cooking it on the stove somehow cooks it but makes the oats maintain their individual oat integrity.

I purposefully put in less water than recommended to emphasize the oaty integrity.

But we're having bacon, eggs and hash browns this morning.

Last night the Zmayhem braved the dark and the rain and a half hour drive to javachik's house to eat tasty foods, drink tasty drinks and play games. megan walker showed up and we all played Zombie Fluxx. Emmett hooked up java's Wii (which had been sitting in a box for a year) and showed her how to bowl, box and do the Wii Fit.

I made Pimm's Cups Plus Gin (Gin Ginger Pimm's?) topped them off with fresh Meyer lemon wheels since we had no cucumbers.

Most tasty. And we came home with a big bag of lemons too.

Maybe I'll make lemon curd, or a lemon meringue pie. What would you do with a bag of Meyer lemons?

java had never seen Emmett and Matilda being their usual affectionate selves in person before. They were all charming and shit. Much fun and bonhomie.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Today we are sitting around in a post breakfast stupor.

Matilda and JZ have been watching select video hits from our past including: "It's Baby Dylan!" and "Jen thinks your socks are funny" and "Kelly's got your stuffed bear!" (All starring Matilda.)

Later I will try to rouse the bunch to go see Fantastic Mr. Fox which is still lingering in one theater and has a matinee price as late as 3pm.

Tomorrow, JZ and Matilda go to church and see Papou. Emmett and I will slug about and then play some catch as the baseball draft is coming up and the season will be starting in mid-Feb. Well, the practicing part of the season.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Last night the Zmayhem braved the dark and the rain and a half hour drive to javachik's house

I am sosorry I missed that. I was supposed to go out with work people, but we were all too worn out and wussy to venture out in the rain or do anything but go home.
