Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah, I would have called when I got home. Just to make sure.

Because books.

What the Empress said.

When I got home, sure.

for the record, I'm 911 trigger happy due to my old neighborhood. I called 911 on noise issues several times a year, sometimes on something more serious. And ended up being served as a witness. So.

I did call and got a call back from the police. Apparently both parties had left the scene or they needed more precise locales, which I ended up giving using cardinal directions.

I wonder if neither driver had insurance (would NOT be a surprise in my 'hood) and so they both ended up taking off. Makes me feel like I should have pulled over or written down license plate numbers etc.

When it's all said and done, though, I'm not the person in charge of enforcing laws so I did the best I was going to do...right?

Yep, you did all you could and all that was expected. In fact, more than was expected, honestly.

I figure in calling 911, at worst they'll choose to ignore me if overwhelmed, at best I'm being a good citizen. I use 311 for the non-criminal or slow-response is OK stuff (like my damned trash cans.)

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Paging Kat! Scrangie's got pictures of the new OPI Spring collection up, including the green you're interested in. [link]

Not Kat, but I see three colors I'd like to try. That green is great, and I like the Ferry one a lot, too.

It was pretty interesting because 911 answered immediately and transferred me to my local PD, which is exactly what I would hope would happen. I hate calling local PD directly.

I'm watching Gray's Anatomy from last week. I really love Sloan and Calli's friendship. I can't explain why.

I made a pistachio cake with apples and honey. It had a weird batter -- more like a banana bread. It smells amazing.

Also, last week's Greys.... go OWEN. I love Owen and Cristina as much as I loved Cristina and Burke and that is saying something.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I know, Kat! Owen! And are you talking about the chicken pox scratching and conversation in the previous post? Because that just made me like them so much.

And that cake sounds wonderful. Mmmm, pistachios, I did not know you came in cake form.

-t, I am talking about that scene. It was just really sweet. But then Sloan fucks it up by going hypocritical double standard ass on Lexie and I was over him again. But not Owen. Still full of Owen love.
