Paging Kat! Scrangie's got pictures of the new OPI Spring collection up, including the green you're interested in. [link]
Huh. Finally got my final grade for a class from last semester. Thought I was getting a C+. Got a B- instead. Rock.
Question for the hivemind....
As I was driving down the mainstreet near my house, a minivan pulled out of the Target parking lot and hit a honda civic pushing the civic across the street and around. The driver of the civic got out and took off running behind CVS, trying to get away.
I was immediately behind the civic and kept going because I have a kid who needs the potty.
Would you have called 911 on getting home (it was 1 minute from my house)?
Plei, that's a pretty great green... I will have to look for it after payday.
Yeah, I would have called when I got home. Just to make sure.
What the Empress said.
When I got home, sure.
for the record, I'm 911 trigger happy due to my old neighborhood. I called 911 on noise issues several times a year, sometimes on something more serious. And ended up being served as a witness. So.
I did call and got a call back from the police. Apparently both parties had left the scene or they needed more precise locales, which I ended up giving using cardinal directions.
I wonder if neither driver had insurance (would NOT be a surprise in my 'hood) and so they both ended up taking off. Makes me feel like I should have pulled over or written down license plate numbers etc.
When it's all said and done, though, I'm not the person in charge of enforcing laws so I did the best I was going to do...right?
Yep, you did all you could and all that was expected. In fact, more than was expected, honestly.
I figure in calling 911, at worst they'll choose to ignore me if overwhelmed, at best I'm being a good citizen. I use 311 for the non-criminal or slow-response is OK stuff (like my damned trash cans.)
