When I hear Poker Face now, I substitute, "Even when it's bold italic."
Seriously. I want to marry that clip and have its babies.

The DH loves Rolling Rock.
I was once chased by a herd of cows, on a hill, in the woods, in Sicily. Cows are terrifying at speed, let me say.
They were probably in the Cowsa Nostra.
Genny Cream and Ballentine were my two "can't afford anything better" beers, though when I could find the Genny Twelve Horse, I'd much prefer it. And Ballentine had a hell of an IPA once upon a time (haven't seen it in over a decade in the northeast, however).
There was also the occasional foray into Haffenreffer aka Green Death.
Some people vote for Lloyd Dobler as perfect boyfriend, but I'd have to go for Martin Blank every time. He's what my Lloyd grew up to be.
I can't argue with that.

I hurt myself wincing and laughing at that.

Ha! That's what we drank in high school -- I forgot about that! Not that I really drank much of it, but I always did the rebuses.
Lady Gaga really grew on me. I haven't seen or heard any interviews, but I think there's probably more to her than she's willing to show. And I did see a clip of her singing in a bar before she *became* Lady Gaga, and her voice is pretty amazing.

Wrod. I don't mind weird when there's the talent to back up.
I can't argue with that.
And excellent soundtrack. So much win! Okay, I'm not in love with the Minnie Driver character, but at least she was played by a cool actress. So it's okay.
Can I go home yet?
Please?

Ballentine bottles had those rebuses too!
I think Haffenreffer was a New England tradition of a certain beer drinking age. Granted, so was Nastygansett, but I managed to avoid that one.
