What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Penny Arcade takes on that story about banning D&D in prison.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I quite enjoy Boston Legal, when I catch it in re-runs. It's (Sorkin, I think?)'s soapbox writ large, but since it's usually Spader delivering the soapboxing, I can live with it. Candace Bergen is AWESOME in it, and Shatner is hilarious. The diversity of the cast is less problematic than, say, Supernatural, and they've had some amazing guest stars.

Our neighbor who is pretty high up there with the Obama administration left for work today at 4 a.m. (The dog and I were awake.) Usually we wave to each other at 7 a.m. when we're both pulling out of the driveway. Guess they're still working on that speech.

It's (Sorkin, I think?)

David E. Kelley.

I tried to watch a little of Boston Legal once, and the filming style bugged me. The camera was always moving and zooming in on stuff for no reason.

brillig

"Boston Legal" often surprised me, especially when Shatner would brush himself off and remind the world that once upon a time he was considered a very respectable serious actor. I enjoy when he knowlingly embraces the schtick that has become his life, but he can also bring the chops. The episodes where Denny's dealing with the knowledge he has the precursors of Alzheimer's are wonderful.
