I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Are they going to rename it? It should be the Spirit stander now.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Thanks, Gud. Aside from the 17 degree temps, and wind, it's alright. We got a ride home so we're safe and sound. A friend is coming to watch Liv and get Owen off the bus while I go to meet the tow truck. I'm sure it's just the power steering pump.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

How about dress Mr. Peabody up as a zombie and have him chase you around the yard?

He is usually the chasee.

When I was reading World War Z, I thought, "Mr Peabody would be an awesome anti-zombie dog."

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

James O'Keefe, the 25-year-old who became a hero on the right by dressing as a pimp and filming himself and a female partner, Hannah Giles, exposing apparent malfeasance in ACORN offices, has gotten himself back in the news. This time, things aren't going quite so well for him: He and three others have just been hit with federal charges in an alleged plot to wiretap the phones in the New Orleans office of Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Damn.

They seriously went in dressed as telephone repairmen.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

They seriously went in dressed as telephone repairmen.

Ha. "I learned all my political espionage tricks from watching I Love Lucy!"

Here Comes The Haggis, Ctd

A USDA official:

Recently, several news articles have incorrectly stated that the U.S. will be relaxing or lifting its ban on Scottish haggis. At this time, haggis is still banned in the U.S. The APHIS rule covers all ruminant imports, which includes haggis. It is currently being reviewed to incorporate the current risk and latest science related to these regulations. There is no specific time frame for the completion of this review. Please check back with APHIS periodically for updates.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I don't get why people get so Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww about Haggis. I mean, if you don't like it (I did) that's one thing.

It seems to be the ingredients that freak people out, however. What do they think sausage is? A whole bunch of cold cuts? If you're cool with eating something dead why do you care what parts you're eating?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Allyson, sorry to hear about Sam, but I do believe that he will eventually find a home. And very happy to hear that things are going well with your boy. He's lucky to find you.

I am in a strange mental space. Quite happy and hopeful about some things, but having a hard time holding onto hope when I start to look beyond my immediate surroundings.
