I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I guess basically I think it was an honest mistake, but I know the refs can't really get into determining intent. Or shouldn't.

Trust my rage

Oh, totally. Late but honest mistake.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, late hits are something they don't really mess around with.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

But at that point the ball was live, right? I mean he called for a fair catch but then funbled the catch. It seemed like a rational response to go after him. But yeah, I understand penalizing late hits is intended for safety.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Dude, that was totally a touchdown just now. Plane doesn`t need to extend past the boundary; it broke the normal plane.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I spent the third quarter making lasagna and watching from the kitchen, which is about two steps away from watching from the hall.

I'm sorry Favre's getting so banged up. I'm sure no one wants that. The fumbles are pretty awesome, though.
