Don't worry, I'm not gonna start any sword fights. I'm over that phase.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I spent the third quarter making lasagna and watching from the kitchen, which is about two steps away from watching from the hall.

I'm sorry Favre's getting so banged up. I'm sure no one wants that. The fumbles are pretty awesome, though.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

There it is. And yeah, I agree about Favre. No one wants to see him like that.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Is this football?

Why does Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle" make me cry? I am not a father, nor a son, nor did my mother ignore me in favor of her job. But still, I weep.

Because books.

Sophia, I think they passed a law in the 1970s that it has to make you cry or ... you lose.

(And yes, they're talking about football.)

I no longer feel like a totally insane fan.

It is not quite as bad as Puff the Magic Dragon, but still, actual tears from my Pandora Station (it was followed by Eric Clapton's "Tears From Heaven" and preceded by John Denver singing "Leavin' on a Jet Plane. WTF?) Now we are on to "Brown Eyed Girl", which is better
