Zoe: Yeah? Thought you'd get land crazy that long in port. Wash: Probably, but I've been sane a long while now, and change is good.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I'd definitely have to rent storage if I was trying to get the house in shape for showing. Which I'm not!

I was all social at an all-women Wordpress development brunch, which was good, but now I'm all sad and feeling left out again.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I keep on waffling about doing my reading for schoo. I have to get about 200 pages read by Tuesday night, and I haven't started any of it.

Oh, well, off to read!

Or do cross stitch.

See, waffle!

Theo!! you aren't left out here! (())

Another side effect of me getting my place really clean and put together? I realize how much I really like it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Weird. Giant Doll Heads Fashion Show

Craftster user gorgaus, as an art installation, put on a fashion show in which the women participating wore enormous plastic sleepy-eye doll heads.

They are made from fibreglass. They are quite light, they have a stem at the back of the neck that leads down to the waist where there is a back brace so all the weight is on their hips. The wigs are heavier than the heads, especially the geisha style one. They used dancers instead of models cause they thought they might have more strength and balance.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

but now I'm all sad and feeling left out again.

But...I love you and think you're awesome!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Had an awesome lunch with Lisah Juliana and Chicago Bob. There were oysters and champagne and Lisa.

The status is NOT quo.

We left early, which is good considering my 4 AM wake up.

We were so honored and happy you three came at all! It was such a great party.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

There were oysters and champagne and Lisa.

I can vouch for that combination being excellent.

I just had a super tasty club sandwich, even though the bacon was faux and veggie.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I'm having terrible luck with Target and TJs of late. Their shelves will be clean of a staple I get there. It's really annoying. I don't know if it is the winter shipping schedule or what, but it's been like this the past month or so.

This has been happening to me at TJs basically every time I've gone for a couple of months. I chalked it up to the holidays, but it's still happening. I wondered if they were running tighter on their inventory (like, not ordering as much to keep in the back as they usually do) because of the economy, or something.

But it annoys me when I can't find unshelled edamame or those damned crack-filled vanilla bean cream Joe-Joes cookies.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I spent $96.00 at the grocery store yesterday, and I feel like I bought hardly anything. I was able to carry it on the bus!

I am buying to make stuff for my freezer, and I bought pickles and pepproncini, and stocked up on rice, but other than that I feel like I bought the normal stuff. $$5.00 was catfood.
