I'm having terrible luck with Target and TJs of late. Their shelves will be clean of a staple I get there. It's really annoying. I don't know if it is the winter shipping schedule or what, but it's been like this the past month or so.
This has been happening to me at TJs basically every time I've gone for a couple of months. I chalked it up to the holidays, but it's still happening. I wondered if they were running tighter on their inventory (like, not ordering as much to keep in the back as they usually do) because of the economy, or something.
But it annoys me when I can't find unshelled edamame or those damned crack-filled vanilla bean cream Joe-Joes cookies.
I spent $96.00 at the grocery store yesterday, and I feel like I bought hardly anything. I was able to carry it on the bus!
I am buying to make stuff for my freezer, and I bought pickles and pepproncini, and stocked up on rice, but other than that I feel like I bought the normal stuff. $$5.00 was catfood.
Oh, lord, why are they showing footage of Brett Favre singing "Pants on the Ground"? And why is the reporter asking him why he smacks people on the butt?
I am having the weirdest pain. I think it is starting in my shoulder area, but it is making the right back of my head hurt, right above the bump over to my ear.
Huh. Slave Leia, imagined as nose-art on a B-29:

The December art contest at Super Punch was SciFi Fairy Tales. My wife came up with the brilliant suggestion to mash-up Snow White and classic Trek, and this illustration is the result.
eta: The B-29 cockpit was the inspiration for the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon.
Bullshit call on the Saints!
Edit: Hrm, maybe not, now that they've explained that the official explained it wrong.
God, football is nerve-wracking.
msbelle, I get a lot of weird referred pain in my neck (like these stupid zits making my whole head ache.) Could you have pulled/strained something with all the picking up & whatnot?
ION, I am officially SORE. Sometimes my weekend swim does this, sometimes not. And I'm sneezy, which is worrisome.
The mysterious leave-picker-upper has been unveiled. Neighbor Brian apparently has been doing this for years, according to Ben. So now I know who to thank. Ben has thought maybe I'd done it, since I have swept up his leaves before. Anyway, I love my street.
Wow, Favre is looking winded.
yep. I was lifting furniture, coulda been that.
