SAG red carpet pics with commentary. On second view of Christina Hendrick's dress I like it more than I thought I would. Still hate the hair and make up.
Diana Argon? WHAT?
It looks like the curtains are opening on her breasts.
That comment sums up one of the things wrong with her dress.
I was sad to not have the SAGs on my TV.
Well, going back to sleep didn't really work. Just made me more slothful.
I'm having terrible luck with Target and TJs of late. Their shelves will be clean of a staple I get there. It's really annoying. I don't know if it is the winter shipping schedule or what, but it's been like this the past month or so. Out of my juice, out of spinach tortillas, out of my cheese.
Plus, today both were complete madhouses like I haven't seen in a long time. No idea what was up with that.
Think I'll run to the pool before doing the rest of my errands.
I'd definitely have to rent storage if I was trying to get the house in shape for showing. Which I'm not!
I was all social at an all-women Wordpress development brunch, which was good, but now I'm all sad and feeling left out again.
I keep on waffling about doing my reading for schoo. I have to get about 200 pages read by Tuesday night, and I haven't started any of it.
Oh, well, off to read!
Or do cross stitch.
See, waffle!
Kathy, READ!
Theo!! you aren't left out here! (())
Another side effect of me getting my place really clean and put together? I realize how much I really like it.
Weird. Giant Doll Heads Fashion Show
Craftster user gorgaus, as an art installation, put on a fashion show in which the women participating wore enormous plastic sleepy-eye doll heads.
They are made from fibreglass. They are quite light, they have a stem at the back of the neck that leads down to the waist where there is a back brace so all the weight is on their hips. The wigs are heavier than the heads, especially the geisha style one. They used dancers instead of models cause they thought they might have more strength and balance.
but now I'm all sad and feeling left out again.
But...I love you and think you're awesome!
Had an awesome lunch with Lisah Juliana and Chicago Bob. There were oysters and champagne and Lisa.
We left early, which is good considering my 4 AM wake up.
We were so honored and happy you three came at all! It was such a great party.
