Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I found Gideon pretty insufferable on rewatch. His relationship with Reid was about the only thing that redeemed him for me. He was too snooty with everyone else. I don't think it was too much of meta colouring things.

I think Joe Mantegna is very wasted--Rossi is a delightfully egdy character from what we've seen. There could be so much more. But there isn't time.

I also like Prentiss a lot. I thought Greenaway was a textbook shrill Daddy's girl with issues and a gun. Prentiss is a much more together action heroine.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I found Gideon pretty unsufferable on rewatch.

He's just...weirdly smug. It grates.

That whole "why did he stutter?" thing they had at the start, it just seemed set up to put a halo on his head. Never bought it, never dug it.

Was almost trapped in my dress. The head came off the zipper at the side that gives extra room for getting in and out of it, so I had to kinda sneak in and pop myself out. A bit close there on the way out.

Back at the safari, and had to play cranky grownup. Damn, when did I become that person? But there's like ten college(?) age kids crammed into the room next to us with music and talking we could hear as we got back and got ready for bed, so I went over and was like "we're going to bed. Shut up". (after knocking and getting the "shhhh! ....". Long pause, theeeeen door opens)

6 am is really too early to be awake on a sunday. But if I go back to bed, I know I'll miss MK's shot. Sigh.

This is definitely too early to be up on a Sunday morning, but there's still some wait at the ER.

Oh how I wish you didn't know that, ita.

Me, I think I'm going back to bed now. Wish you could do the same.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't go back to bed, and I hope ita got her shot, already.

I have so much TV to catch up on -- far too busy the last couple of days, and then totally too tired in the evening to watch much, that is if I wasn't out at that time anyway. But busy is good.

brillig

6 AM. Sunday. I'm at work. Here's hoping caffeine and Christopher Lambert in Mortal Kombat can wake me up.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The concert last night was fun, aside from the guy at our table who booed when one of the performers made some political remarks. Hello, you're at a folk concert, what did you expect?
