Back at the safari, and had to play cranky grownup. Damn, when did I become that person? But there's like ten college(?) age kids crammed into the room next to us with music and talking we could hear as we got back and got ready for bed, so I went over and was like "we're going to bed. Shut up". (after knocking and getting the "shhhh! ....". Long pause, theeeeen door opens)

6 am is really too early to be awake on a sunday. But if I go back to bed, I know I'll miss MK's shot. Sigh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This is definitely too early to be up on a Sunday morning, but there's still some wait at the ER.

Oh how I wish you didn't know that, ita.

Me, I think I'm going back to bed now. Wish you could do the same.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I didn't go back to bed, and I hope ita got her shot, already.

I have so much TV to catch up on -- far too busy the last couple of days, and then totally too tired in the evening to watch much, that is if I wasn't out at that time anyway. But busy is good.

6 AM. Sunday. I'm at work. Here's hoping caffeine and Christopher Lambert in Mortal Kombat can wake me up.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

The concert last night was fun, aside from the guy at our table who booed when one of the performers made some political remarks. Hello, you're at a folk concert, what did you expect?

Our wings are not tired.

I've been waking up at 3 because my body is on other coast time and I can't see changing it for a 3 day stay. Swimming may happen.

I'm so sorry that the ER has to happen at all, and even more so that it has to take a long time. Along with the quick effective relief ~ma I'm wishing more for a permanent solution for those that suffer with migraines. My sister gets them too and I feel so helpless when she is in pain. Stupid uncooperative bodies.

black coffee:

Huh, really Sheryl political comments from a folk singer shouldn't be so surprising. I hope the boo-er wasn't obnoxious. You can express disagreement while still being good natured.

oh ita, I'm so sorry.

Since I've been up, I have washed and folded a set of laundry, taken a shower and made sure Noah has gotten washed up, made a double batch of oatmeal maple scones, made baked chicken, washed the dishes.

Am. So. Tired.
