I don't think this has ever been about the kids, or about the hair. It's about the mom. Since she has to be reminded of the defacing of her beautiful princess every day for months, to come, she assumes Liv needs to be reminded, as well. Or she's making some assumption that I didn't punish Liv enough for her crimes. What. Ev. Er.

I am so glad she's giving parenting lessons. She's truly a model mother.
Just out of curiosity, how does E seem to be handling her hair cut?
Well, clearly reminding Liv about the hair incident daily for the next year is the only thing that could keep her from becoming a puppy-eating scythe-murderer when she's 5. It's right there in the Gospel according to CrazyFlakes. Verse 7:12, I belive.
Kee-rist. Parents always love suggestions on how to raise their kids, right? Very thoughtful of her. Maybe you should chime in with a few for her--or better yet, stick with your plan of cutting her loose.

Completely fine with it. She looks almost exactly the same. Whoever they found to fix it, did a fantastic job. It's a lot thinner, but they saved a lot of the length in layers.
It's a shame they couldn't save her mother's sanity.

Jeez, Cash. I feel very, very sorry for little E, having to deal with a mother who gets that obsessive. Can you imagine what it's going to be like for her when she starts school?
Also, you were far more polite with Crazy-Cakes than I would have been.
I am thinking that this mom will not do well when the daughter starts dating. Poor girl.
The obsession with hair makes me laugh a little, only because as a child I REALLY REALLY want long hair, and I consistantly had short hair because my mom wouldn't let me have long hair until I could brush and care for it myself. She didn't have time as a single working mom, and I would get these horrible mats. And when my grandma did it, she would whack me with the brush for crying when it hurt!
