I'll just jump in my time machine, go back to the twelfth century, and ask the vampires to postpone their ancient prophesy for a few days while you take in dinner and a show.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Up here, rainy tomorrow, clear Saturday, cloudy on Sunday, rain again on Monday.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I think so, Kat. It`s pretty messy here. Our band leader is stranded in Flagstaff; all the interstates are closed. If I were betting, I'd gamble I'm not going anywhere through Sunday.

But you have electricity again so housebound = not so great, but better with appliances!

holy shit. Just had a really weird scare. Noah is asleep on our bed and I just peeked in on him. He was not where he was supposed to be and I didn't see him. Why? Because he was curled up at the foot of the bed with the dog.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

No scaring mommy! Or emotionally scarring her. Glad you saw him quickly, Kat.

My pedicure is a remnant from November

I just got a pedi today that was nearly archeological because my last pedi was also in Nov and there were a *lot* of layers to get through.

[link] Evidence. It's pretty cute I have to say.

But not as cute as when we were babysitting for a friend last week. Her son and Noah (in matching PJs because Noah was really upset that J was wearing what he thought were his PJs) fell asleep in bed [link]

Having had 2 Magic Beers, I do believe it's time to switch to Whiskey.

That is a cute boy you have there. And, wow, kids sleep HARD. I tend to forget that. The cute I remember though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm going in an hour late tomorrow morning. I told New Guy this. He told me he got my back covered, because I have his. But I don't care if my boss knows what time I get in. And also because I told boss New Guy was late today. And he might not even have been. This time. First time on time this week if he wasn't.

ita, tell New Guy to change coasts. He'd fit it well with my project managers.

...Wait, no. You keep him.

Can you give his age range? I've been assuming he's a newbie moron and is treating the job like college, but I'm not sure if I just imagined him as fratboy because of his behavior, or if you'd said something else specific to made me think he was younger. (Not that it makes a difference, because he's a tool regardless. But now I'm curious as to which exact species of tool he is.)
