You were very nearly devoured by a giant demon snake. The words 'let that be a lesson' are a tad redundant at this juncture.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

We use GoToMeeting at my job for online sharing, but I think then we still use our regular conference calling company as well.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Well, I was bringing three, but I could cull that down to two.

Ummm. Whut.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Yeah, I am totally ridic. One big fat one and a flat iron.

I might need to change my mind on what a good idea is.

Understand, I do not judge. I just didn't know that there were that many kinds of curling irons.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm carrying on my laptop and my phone, so if my luggage gets lost it's just clothes and toiletries, which I can have Jet Blue pay me back for and spend Friday afternoon shopping.

I just didn't know that there were that many kinds of curling irons.

Big fat ones, teeny tiny ones, flat ones, ones for spiral curling. And then you consider that they are all made of different heating materials. Ceramic, etc.

Eff my brother. I'm totally checking.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I would like to point out that at this juncture I hate everyone and everything and no, my doctor hasn't refilled my painkiller prescription, and why does the consultant have to be in the office today consulting on the bit of the project I care about? Also, why does this week already have to be a short week and I have no sick time?

Yeah, but I'm not sure he meets reasonable expectations.

I think part of the problem with Obama is that he has been assumed to be a lot more progressive than he really is. There's plenty I'm not happy with, but he ran as a Clinton style democrat, not as strong progressive. The right making him out to be the love child of Carl Marx and Hugo Chavez doesn't help, of course, they pretty much did that with Clinton too.

My wife e-mailed me the story about the SCOTUS decision today, now she's asking me my feelings about New Zealand. I've seen pictures, it looks nice.

New Zealand is awesome! OK, I've never been, but my cousin moved there and became a citizen. She loves it.
