Mal: Zoe, why do I have a wife? Jayne: You got a wife? All I got is that dumbass stick sounds like its raining. How come you got a wife?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

So the Deadwood Pancakes video Matt was talking about is pretty great.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Mmm, sounds lovely. And yup, it is just now getting warm in the Arizona mountains. Totally did it on a whim; walked past it on my way from the bookstore (where I was finally picking up my copy of one Deb Grabien`s "While My Guitar Gently Weeps.") and said, huh, I could get my hair cut. And as I had the photo of indignant French teacher on my phone, I did.

Our wings are not tired.

I had a great time tonight. Flea went to bed shortly after everyone left, and I cleaned up in my usual post party whirlwind. And then I cozied up on the couch and watched 3 hours of Tivo'd Survivor finale. I think I need go take aflea to the airport in a few hours...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Breaking news! Krispy Kreme in trouble in Australia: [link]

Mr. Scola’s wardrobe by Botany 500

It turns out that Krispy Kreme was just a fad in the States, too.

I got up ridiculously early this morning, so that I could walk to work and be here by 7:00.

I woke up early, which is good since for some reason, the alarm didn't go off.

Just back from dropping Flea at the airport.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Now I want Krispy Kreme. Which we do not have here. A local place makes a glazed donut called Glazers which are close. But you can't get them warm and fresh.

Nice tag, java!

Ha! Are you just now noticing? My previous one as Owen too! He is profound.

ETA: that was his answer when I asked him his favorite thing to do with his mom.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Krispy Kreme isn't a fad down here, it's a long and proud tradition. Also, microwaving a donut for about 10-15 seconds comes pretty close to recreating the deliciousness of fresh.

The cookout sounds lovely!

Liese, I totally dig your hair. V. sassy.

My hamstrings are sore from yesterday, which is not a bad thing.
