I want to eat Cash's lambchops. Mmmm.
Back from baseball. Our team played crappy and stupid. So much stupid. They were down 7-0 in the third, 10-4 in the fourth.
And then they came back to win...on a stupid play. We had a runner at first and another at third (the tying run). The runner at first got picked off like an idjit and they botched the rundown and the runner from third scored. Then some more shenanigans and we won on the opposing team's error.
We totally didn't deserve to win. If I recounted all the dumb shit we did it'd take an hour.
Unfortunately Matilda did not nap at the fields and now she's falling asleep too early. Or rather just in a cranky fusspot zone after being very tractable and pleasant all day.
msbelle, I was thinking about you guys earlier as I was out for Ethiopian food. Which was pretty good, but not awesome.
Oh man. ita, I probably have some vintage stuff that would work for you (and a great orange silk dress from Banana Republic, Size 6, but narrow across the back) My problem is always across the back.
and msbelle, nothing with a full skirt... I'm keeping those.
Library show was interesting, but not really what was advertised. It was about importance of libraries, illustrated with occasional snippets from movies. Yes, Marion the Librarian was well represented. As was a movie with Tracey and Hepburn, which was the companion to a section about Hepburn's sister, who is a librarian. A large segment was on the Salinas, Ca., libraries, that were going to be closed because idiots who don't use libraries don't think they should have to pay for them. The literacy program in San Quentin Prison raised money for the libraries, with the quote "If you don't have libraries for kids, the only place left for them is someplace like this."
As was a movie with Tracey and Hepburn,
Desk Set? The one with the huge computer?
Desk Set!
My favorite of the T/H romcoms.
Desk Set, that's the one.
My problem is always across the back.
My back is pretty narrow these days (although the girls can be a problem). Anything you don't mind hanging onto until the next time we see each other, would be great.
I'm trying to collect examples of good celebrity tweeters. So far I have Misha Collins, Matthew Gray Gubler and John Rogers. Anyone else you'd cite as Celeb Tweeting 101?
