Kalee is at that stage where all she wants to do is hold my fingers and walk - oi, my achin' back.
And the dog park gives me the opportunity to gossip with the neighbors - who showed up about 7:30, which is why we stayed that long.
Kat and msbelle, you are in my thoughts. Lucky, lucky, lucky, Lucky 13.

That phase still hasn't ended for us. But oh man, heat was our friend on this one. And a little push walker like this: [link]
yeah we'll get to see ita!
Kat, what is Sisters of Notre Dame training?
Oh kat, I feel for you.
He has moved passed anger, that was at 3am when he figured things out initially and woke me up. Now he is more resigned and trying to manipulate his way out of it by giving hugs and doe eyes and then offering up "can I get what I want if I just do this?" Yeah no. Part of his lesson for this weekend is full understanding of mom "sticking to her guns".
Stay strong, msbelle.
oh msbelle. Wow. I am really sorry that you have to go through this.
Amy, I went to a Catholic all girl's school run by the Sisters of Notre Dame. In some ways, they were a radical order because that had initially disobeyed the Diocese's order about where to establish themselves and what do do and so they operate somewhat outside of the Diocese itself. Anyhow, I think going to that high school really taught me to question my own assumptions, to be devil's advocate and to really try to maintain and multi-perspective place. It makes me a contrarian in lots of ways because I'll argue 8 sides of an argument, but it also allows me to slow down, even when I'm really rage, and make an effort to see a second side.
What Jesse said, msbelle. And fingers crossed for you.

Good skills to have. But I would be wrathful, too.
That's some valuable training, truly.
I feel I was lucky that my family sort of defaulted to a low-church Presbyterian church because more or less it was near our home. At least the way our Pastor taught it, faith requires a lot of questioning and thought, and personal salvation is a private struggle.
