they just want to get with other people ageplaying children and then they play like kids
Something tells me they didn't get enough of that before. It does kind of sound like fun.
It looks like fun. I don't get the mindset, but it's cute.
As far as I can tell, they don't play with toy boats.
You know, I am reading "The Happiness Project" and am on May, where the author is trying to find fun leasure time activities, and she got the advice "think about what you liked to do when you were ten, you will probably like it now". SO I have been thinking about, that when I was ten, I loved writing, drawing and singing, which ( except for singing around the house) I never do now. And I know that I stopped drawing and writing because I was "no good". SO although I do not want to play the baby, regressing to fun childhood activities is sounding pretty fun.

I color in Sara's coloring books all the time. It's relaxing, mindless, and I love the range of colors in my colored pencils. Every once in a while I will also dress one of her baby dolls when she leaves it naked.
I have my own coloring books! And crayons. It's fun, relaxing, and I get to feel creative without judging my work.
I did LOVE making outfits for my doll, which sort of translated into doing costumes... Of course, I also loved dressing up and pretending I was either in Little House on the Prarie or that I was a witch making potions. I would love to do that now, too, but alas, I think people would send me to the mental institution.
My BFF says that one of the reasons she loves having kids is that it gives her an excuse to play pretend without feeling silly.
When I was 10, I read a lot, played with Barbies, and played Love Boat with in my friend's back yard who had a pool.
I've fallen in love with a Loveseat on Kijiji: [link]
I don't think I've $575 fallen in love with it, but I'm pretty close. If transporting it wasn't an issue, I'd probably have emailed them by now. If I had a car, I'd have bought a lot more crap on Kijiji.
Sophia, you should read Geography of Bliss next. Just for the title alone, but also the theme.
Mr. Mac! That's a serious kid foul. No game.
we are home. I am so seriously over his inability to deal with anything. I am going to bed.

My sister says that, too. And she's made a career out of it - children's theater with an Original Play component. I think she wins for bliss-following in my family.
Mac, mind your mom!
That's a great loveseat.
