My BFF says that one of the reasons she loves having kids is that it gives her an excuse to play pretend without feeling silly.
My sister says that, too. And she's made a career out of it - children's theater with an Original Play component. I think she wins for bliss-following in my family.
Mac, mind your mom!
That's a great loveseat.
Oh-- I used to work in Children;s Theatre! I loved it, but my boss was seriously craxy!!!
I'm glad to hear you've made it home, msbelle.

Well, my sister is her own boss, so she's got that covered.
When you go to Papa Murphy's and tell your 13 year old son to pick what he wants (I usually go on my own and get the veggie thin crust or something like that), be prepared to come home with the 5 meat stuffed pizza. This thing is a MONSTER.
The boy has definitely hit stereotypical teenage boy eating levels.
Have finally booked our hotel for our anniversay weekend that starts, uhm, tomorrow. There has been so much drama and stress surrounding it this year. Ugh.
I guess it's our 13 th year curse.
Either there is a crazyass gun battle, a bunch of things exploding like fireworks, or a drum line with no rhythm somewhere in NE Baltimore. No sirens, just thumps like...well one of those things.
I just bought the nephew some toy planes online. His birthday is tomorrow. Aunting FAIL.
oh msbelle, I'm glad you are at home and sorry you had to deal.
daisy jane, anniversaries shouldn't be stressy... i'm sorry.
Remember the regatta dress from 2006? It was like the one true dress to rule them all? it fits again! I'm kinda thrilled. In 5 or so more lbs my old size 6 pants should fit.
as long as they weren't toy boats....
When I was ten, I read a lot, played soccer, played the sax, and sang in chorus. Hmm.
I hope all the drama is over now, DJ, and you can just enjoy the weekend.
