I actually am less googleable by facebook than I am buy linkedin. LinkedIn is the current bane of my googleability. But the top hit for me is a school I worked at THREE YEARS AGO. HATE.
I feel like the Facebook privacy shit should bother me more than it does. And, I don't like how they've changed things up w/out communicating clearly. I think they are shifty and whatnot but I just can't get that worked up about it. Call me a sell out but they make it so freaking easy to fundraise!
So true. Though my fundraising is all school related. It's so much easier!
Can I ask the high school teachers, if one of your students got caught ditching the whole day, first offense, what would the punishment be?
At our school, it's that you possibly will be suspended, though probably not and that your parents/guardian are liable (if caught by the police) for a truancy ticket (~$275) + a court date. For a kid who has little to no record, it might just be all 0s on the work that day. But there is such a culture of ditching here that none of that actually applies.
Oooh. But, at my school, there was a parent whose two kids were always truant who got thrown in for 3 months (not sure how that is meant to improve a kid's attendance).
Theresa, that absolutely BLOWS. Would you consider taking the lower paying job until June then taking your FMLA because then it's something? And if they offered you another job and you don't accept, does that screw up unemployment?
I think I am pretty open regarding folks with fetishes, but I just got a meet up request from a guy looking for a Mommy. He likes wearing ( but not using) diapers and plastic pants. Ok. No thanks. But good luck?
I'm sure there's a Mommy out there somewhere for him. But yeah...keep moving, Buddy.
The kids and I are watching Season 1 of The Muppet Show and they are entranced! Liv is belly laughing! Wheeeee!
Oof.
Full. Of. Yummy. Indian. Food.
Also, Theresa, so sorry you have to work for Tino. Much calm ~ma for the days ahead.
There are now Facebook groups where high school girls post pictures of their prom dresses, so that other girls don't buy the same dress. [link] This seems like yet another part of being a girl that just entirely missed me. I did wear the same dress to prom as another girl, and I had no idea that I was supposed to be enraged by this. We kind of did a double-take when we passed by each other, both said, "Nice dress," and then got on with the rest of prom.

My favorite is the Rita Moreno episode, especially her and Animal performing "Fever."
I think I've shown up as often dressed just like one of the guys in the crowd as one of the women.
But I've never been to prom.
Did show up to an improv group meeting dressed just like my sister once. Just like.
That
was kinda embarrassing.
I love the Mark Hamil ep. And the Paul Simon one.
Mooom, Frankie won't let me nap after work. ::sigh:: He's at his most hyper when I am most exhausted. I mean, it's better that I don't nap and just go to sleep on time, but omg so tired.
Two of the people on my friends list have posted about a person who passed away who was important to them. (It's the same person in both posts) Neither of them mentioned this person's last name, so I have no idea who it is. Argh! Don't assume that everyone who reads your blog knows all the people in your life!
In continuing news of the weird. As I was waiting for my nails to try at the salon, a teenager came in to get a fill. On her toes. Acrylic toes. Ok, the only other place I have heard this referenced was on RuPaul's Drag Race. Teens are getting acrylics on their toes? Why?
I'm still trying to forumlate a response to diaper boy. I have tried to always respond cause I hate it when I send out a message and never hear a peep. "Thanks for contacting me. Not my kink. Good luck."
