Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There are now Facebook groups where high school girls post pictures of their prom dresses, so that other girls don't buy the same dress. [link] This seems like yet another part of being a girl that just entirely missed me. I did wear the same dress to prom as another girl, and I had no idea that I was supposed to be enraged by this. We kind of did a double-take when we passed by each other, both said, "Nice dress," and then got on with the rest of prom.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The kids and I are watching Season 1 of The Muppet Show and they are entranced! Liv is belly laughing! Wheeeee!

My favorite is the Rita Moreno episode, especially her and Animal performing "Fever."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I think I've shown up as often dressed just like one of the guys in the crowd as one of the women.

But I've never been to prom.

Did show up to an improv group meeting dressed just like my sister once. Just like. That was kinda embarrassing.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I love the Mark Hamil ep. And the Paul Simon one.

Mooom, Frankie won't let me nap after work. ::sigh:: He's at his most hyper when I am most exhausted. I mean, it's better that I don't nap and just go to sleep on time, but omg so tired.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Two of the people on my friends list have posted about a person who passed away who was important to them. (It's the same person in both posts) Neither of them mentioned this person's last name, so I have no idea who it is. Argh! Don't assume that everyone who reads your blog knows all the people in your life!

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

In continuing news of the weird. As I was waiting for my nails to try at the salon, a teenager came in to get a fill. On her toes. Acrylic toes. Ok, the only other place I have heard this referenced was on RuPaul's Drag Race. Teens are getting acrylics on their toes? Why?

I'm still trying to forumlate a response to diaper boy. I have tried to always respond cause I hate it when I send out a message and never hear a peep. "Thanks for contacting me. Not my kink. Good luck."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My best friend is terrible about assuming that just because he knows someone, I do too. We've been friends since the first day of 2nd grade, but never moved in the same circles. So I know maybe a couple of his other friends from bunking parties and the like, but couldn't even tell you the last name of his other groomsman.

You're very nice. But I've never minded not hearing back.

Mine too. But I feel terrible because my female BFF is really detail-oriented, so she remembers everyone's names that I tell her, and will ask about lots of people she's never met. Me? I can't remember some of the people we both went to school with. And, to be honest, Colin remembers well the LAistas I introduced him to, so basically I'm the bad friend here. Oops.

Man, I work with some sharp folk. Makes it hard to keep up through a migraine fog.

Mac has walked off from me on purpose, in the village. I am pretty sure he is in a particular store. Fuck!
