Joyce: You don't think it's too obvious? I think I look like I have a cat on my head. Buffy: But a very well groomed cat. Joyce: Well that's a comfort.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, on Facebook. Sounds like Day One was good, Day Two less good, and they'll be in NO today!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Zen, yes, I meant the whole bed, as long as the mattress is in decent shape.

You would not BELIEVE what people "donate" to shelters, trying to get rid of stuff. Dirty clothes, ketchup packets, half-used bottles of shampoo, half burnt candles, freezer burnt frozen meats.

Oh, I believe it. We collect food and clothing at the end of the year from students moving out of the dorms. Apparently carrots are non-perishable. And the underwear, eww, the underwear.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I promise my tights are still in the packages!

Also, plus size and at least somewhat professional!

I think in some states they might not be able to take mattresses.

We've been having our roof and gutters repaired (damage from the big snowstorms) and last night's gullywashers caused leaks in our kitchen and bedroom. The roofers are being very responsive (so far) but I'm annoyed by the fact that I now have to find an electrician to tell me everything is safe, and someone to replace our bedroom ceiling. Oi.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Check out this old ad: Dad REALLY likes the razor, I mean, SQUEE

No man should be that happy getting an electric razor. Sorry, kids - your daddy is insane.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I was gonna say earlier but got distracted. Any clothing you like is worth altering (of course depending on how much alterations cost), no matter how much it originally cost. Also, many dresses can be sucessfully "fake altered" by adding one of these [link] in the small of the back, or with large safety pins creating darts.

Baroque Star Wars

Boing Boing sez:

"Swedish artist Mattias Adolfosson has a rather fantastic gallery of Baroque Star Wars. Star Wars as is it could have looked in the 17th century."

They're all pretty awesome. Jabba in a powdered wig? Genius!

Heh. Too late for this year, they've moved out. But hey, if she's around for the summer and needs stuff, tell her to go to Tar Heel Treasure on Saturday. [link]
