Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm growing mine out a little. Doesn't need to be as long as it used to be, but I find I don't like it when the back of my neck is NOT covered by my hair.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

And The Boy did not react with horror when he came home. I think he really thought I was getting a really short cut (he's known me with fairly damn short hair), despite me telling him I just wanted it off my shoulders. I think his exact words were, "Huh, you really do have a lot of hair left!" So I guess he's not putting me out on the curb. At least, not tonight.

hip deep in pie

It's not cleaning I have a problem with...though I am not the best at it, it's the tidying. I would love (and yet hate) someone to pick up after me.

I just starting paying someone to mow my lawn every other week after my mower died. I have to say I love coming home to find that something I hate doing is done. It's so worth the money.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have managed to have people over to my current apartment often enough that tidying is relatively easy. Also, there's the empty dresser I still haven't gotten rid of that things can be tossed into....

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I would LOVE to have a cleaning service. Even if they only came over once a month. I just want someone else to dust and clean the kitchen and bathroom.

Trust my rage

I live with three people who don't care at all about picking up. It sort of weighs on me all the time, but I am learning to let it weigh less and less as time goes on.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

If I get a raise this year, I'm spending it on a once-a-month cleaning service. With my dust and mold allergies, I need to be WAY better about dusting and mopping, and yet, I'm not. It's the one thing I can't ever seem to get motivated about.

I don't mind the vacuuming and mopping. There's satisfaction in that. (Though I could do without the 2 hours it takes.)

Don't even want to talk about the house-work I need to do.

Had long hair from 8 until my mid 20s. Short hair, I have so few bad hair days, even when I don't bother to style it (weekends.) But sometimes I miss playing with the long.

That's one of the reasons I get it done. I'm crap at cleaning; even when I do it, I feel like I haven't really done it well. But I got addicted to having a clean house. I went from once a month, to every two weeks, and now they come every Monday.

I am free floating discontent tonight. Uhg.
