I wish that, when I make a mistake, people don't say, "Why did you do that?" As if "I made a mistake" isn't acceptable, as if there was some intentionality behind the stupid thing I just did.
If they are training you, it can be an effective way to find out your understanding of what happened, so they can fill in any gaps you might have instead of just saying "you did a wrong thing." If they aren't training you, on the other hand, they are just annoying douchenozzles.
What are they going to do with the crude-oil-soaking immensely heavy mats of hair?
Maybe net them and burn them? Not that I have any idea.
I think I would be too anxious to have a cleaning service. I could imagine spending a good few hours cleaning up before they arrived, which seems to defeat the point.

Moi aussi.
I would really like a cleaning person -- I don't do it enough, but have no problem with straightening. It's the Actual Cleaning I hate.

Well it was the straightening that was good for us. Plus we'd like a cleanish start with Grace coming. It's really beautiful.
I just wish I had someone to do my laundry and to sweep up the cat hair. I don't mind mopping, and I actually enjoy dusting quite a bit. (It's the lemon oil, I think...)
I need a root, and my diamond shoes squeeze.
I would love for my house to be clean, but I don't want anyone touching my stuff, especially the stuff that needs cleaning. It's just embarrassing, having dirty laundry and dust bunnies - people who are not me shouldn't really know about that. I'm trying to get over it. More by being okay with people coming over when the house is a mess than by having cleaning people, but it's the same issue at root.
I am seriously pondering a cleaning person at our new house when we move in July 1. I want someone to vacuum, dust, clean bathrooms, and wash/change the sheets and towels. I don't know if it will happen, though.

We have a scrub once a month. It makes maintenance inbetween visits much simpler.
Dusting. Someone to dust. And declutter. Sadly, not in the budget right now.
