And don't you ever stand for that sort of thing. Someone ever tries to kill you, you try to kill 'em right back! ... You got the right same as anyone to live and try to kill people.

Because books.

I'm sure I don't have the emotional stability to be a parent. My kids would have been the ones whose mommy had to go away with the doctors for a while.

There have been times when I've told them not to bother me unless the house is on fire or they're bleeding from the head. For their own safety.

Punishingly Intricate

You haven't met my cats.

Seriously, mine too. Most of the damage has been to my bank account though. And the rugs.

This past summer I kept flashing on the scene from YA-YA Sisterhood where the mom breaks. And then my dad came and stayed a month.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, Suzi.

That sounds amazing and wonderful, Liese! Now I want to go do a weekend like that. If you haven't already though of it, you might want to check rental places for used kayak sales, you can get some good deals that way.

Part of me wants to jump a plane and get back to California for her service. I don't have the money and the timing would mess with committments I have here. But I have worked with her for over 15 years. There were good times and not so good times, but she was a wonderful lady.

My coffee mug that mac painted and was my Mother's Day gift? It was not in the dishwasher where I left it yesterday when leaving work. It was not in the cabinets in that kitchen. I was about to walk the floor desk by desk and raise a RUKUS, but then I found it in the cabinets of the kitchen on the other side of the building! WTF!?!? People need to stop being crazy and leave my stuff where I put it.

I was a little surprised how upset I got and how fast. damn allergies.
