A ghost? What's the deal? Is every frat on this campus haunted? And if so, why do people keep coming to these parties, cause it's not the snacks.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm sorry, Suzi.

That sounds amazing and wonderful, Liese! Now I want to go do a weekend like that. If you haven't already though of it, you might want to check rental places for used kayak sales, you can get some good deals that way.

Part of me wants to jump a plane and get back to California for her service. I don't have the money and the timing would mess with committments I have here. But I have worked with her for over 15 years. There were good times and not so good times, but she was a wonderful lady.

My coffee mug that mac painted and was my Mother's Day gift? It was not in the dishwasher where I left it yesterday when leaving work. It was not in the cabinets in that kitchen. I was about to walk the floor desk by desk and raise a RUKUS, but then I found it in the cabinets of the kitchen on the other side of the building! WTF!?!? People need to stop being crazy and leave my stuff where I put it.

I was a little surprised how upset I got and how fast. damn allergies.

“Not dead yet!”

Also, Fuck Cancer, the Tino of illnesses.

I think Frank pretty much summed it up. Sympathies, Suzi.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm so sorry, Suzi.

Liese, that sounds totally amazing.

When I was a kid, I drew on the sofa pretty badly. I was old enough to know better, just distracted....

I'm sure there was more, but I think that's all I've got.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm so sorry, Suzi. That's so hard. My friend who had cancer before and now has breast cancer, requiring a mastectomy, is undergoing her first round of chemo today. I hate cancer.

BOW was great. Everyone should go! There are versions all over the states.

Gun-envy here. And five years ago, I'd never have thought that would be me.

Right? I have the over-the-shoulder shot up in my office and as my wallpaper. It's so identity shattering for me. But it was unbelievably fun.

Yup, def. I am also stalking craigslist like a crazy person. Which is not helpful because I don't actually have the money saved up yet. So I occasionally do find the perfect deal and then can't do squat about it. But I will! We have a little private lake here and I just can't wait to get out on it.

The paddling instructor that was our closest friend gives free lessons at the college in Phoenix. But I'm not in Phoenix! He says I could just come over and he'd teach me how to do the stuff in his pool. So I may need to do that at some point.

Punishingly Intricate

Suzi, I'm so sorry. Yeah, cancer can blow me.

I'm leaving the office in just over an hour to get some lab work done. Either my thyriod medicine isn't doing it's job or my anemia is worse than usual. Something is off.

After the blood draw, I think I'm going to head to the dojo and punch things for a while.
