Damn, I need to watch The Muppet Movie again. Maybe we should all watch it and have a watch-n-post.

Just in case anyone wants to get rid of their "must have a dog" feelings....
I'm not sure what to make of the Kagan nomination. It sounds like I'm in the same boat with a lot of lefties. I'm certain the republicans will make her out to be far left of Hugo Chavez , and it will be an ugly, ugly confirmation. However, they're going to do that no matter who is nominated.
In defense of the poor ugly Chinese Cresteds -- the hairless gene is a dominant that when duplicated results in mouth/teeth/jaw deformities and also cataracts. Responsible breeders cross their hairless Cresteds with healthy "hairy" Cresteds (AKA Powderpuffs), which produces fewer hairless puppies but also results in healthier pups.
Outstanding Sculptures – Mark Newman
Scroll down a bit to see his amazing Gollum sculpture... so "realistic" it's scary.
Uhm, tommy. Not a clear photo, but I had to sit alone in a meeting room a while back with this [link]
Incredible! Cassini as Houdini Cuts Titan in Half
There's nothing up the sleeves of the Cassini imaging team in this image; it is real! Is the moon Titan being cut in half by Saturn's rings? What is actually happening here is that the middle part of the rings are made dark as Saturn casts its shadow across them. Cassini was just in the right place at the right time, making it appear as though Titan is being sliced in half! The night side of the planet is to the left, out of the frame of the image. Illuminated Titan can be seen above, below and through gaps in the rings. Click the image for a larger version.
A car that's not for ita. Unless she wants one to get revenge....
Creator of street-legal bumper cars tells how he did it
You may have seen pictures of sweet-looking bumper cars being driven around like real cars. Well, DVICE scored an exclusive interview with the reclusive artist who created them. We granted him anonymity for the purposes of this story to get the full scoop on these beautiful vehicles (though there are plenty of search engines that can help you if you're curious).
...
This guy toils in his warm, dry hometown, turning bumper cars from the '30s, '40s and '50s into actual (and for a time, street-legal) cars. Joe has built eight of them so far, complete with trolley poles and ceiling wiper blades. The cars come from around the U.S. — including Coney Island — and Europe.
You all are linktastic. I'm avoiding cute dog links, ugly dog links and scary sparkly links.
