I was! A cute little townhouse style place in the Irish Channel
Good to hear. I just Googled - right in the Garden District, I see.

Good luck, Jesse!
Ouch, sara. I banged the shit out of my elbow and it's making typing achey. I was running and my knees locked up and I couldn't straighten my legs. So I pitched forward and hit the railings. Didn't realise until today how hard I'd banged one arm. Annoying and inconvenient.
I hope Leo is okay.
Way cool, Nora.
Good golly, even satellites are tweeting now
The Nakasuka Lab at the University of Tokyo has taught one of its satellite's a new trick: to tweet. That makes it the world's first satellite on Twitter — though human satellites, also known as astronauts, have already invaded Twitter in a major way.
The two-pound CubeSat XI-V has been orbiting Earth for five years now, though it's just now getting in touch with us Earthlings by way of regular updates about where it's at, what temperature it is and even sends the odd picture of Earth. Sadly, the CubeSat isn't sporting the kind of camera that would take gorgeous images in space.
If you happen to read Japanese, you can check out what a satellite has to tweet about by following the link below.
Now I wonder what twitter-sat is saying.
"No sign of Godzilla so far...."
Do baseball teams do Father's Day promos? cause they should.
When Zito was with the A's, he designed a series of UGLY ties for Father's Day give-aways. I don't think they were supposed to be ugly on purpose, and yet...
I am still so tickled about the A's perfect game yesterday. I have seen games come close, but never been to a true perfect game. This was Dallas Braden's first no hitter and first complete game, also.
Good luck, Nora and Tom! That place is right around the corner from Philips St, where my sister lived for about a decade. She was a little further away from the canal than y'all will be, in the 900 block. My brother lived there in the 800 block for 3-4 years, too.
People insist on talking to me this morning. What's that about?
My one boss is out of town and the other is out of the office at the moment. So the only person I've talked to today is a McDonald's employee.
Why can't people mind their own fucking business? I do not need to be getting emails from San Francisco asking why one of my direct reports is late this morning. The fuck? Because she contacted me, I approved, and it has nothing to do with you. (Or, more to the point, with the person here in Chicago who was clearly complaining about it.) Grow the fuck up.
This morning I poured a much needed second cup of coffee into a travel mug, added milk, made sure the lid was on tightly, and then left it on the counter.
