How is MK doing?
He's being old. I have periods of really worrying about him, then he acts fairly normal for a cat of his age and circumstance. Need to warn the petsitter he's frailer than he was at Xmas. Sigh. We're due for another checkup in June. We're on a 6mo schedule with him given his age and feebletude.
Y'all are cute.
I don't know where it came from, but I am in a bad fucking mood. Kind of unfortunate.
Ugh, Burrell. Anything you can do to change it? Alcohol? Chocolate? An uninterrupted bath?
sara, give him a skritch behind the ears for me.
Will do. Scritches to Mister Guest-comatizing.
I hope Leo is doing better by morning, and can come home to you healthy and happy to be home, zenkitty.
What Perkins said, zenkitty. Much ~ma to you and Leo.
Mister Guest-comatizing
That really should be his name. He managed to get me to pet him without my even realizing it.
I am procrastinating on finishing the cleaning. It's just too many -ing's all at once, so I'll follow the first and hope the cats and dog (and DH) take care of the second and third.
I have a smart dog. Sigh. I actually found a small training treat that he paid attention to, but the minute he realized I was trying to use them to change his behavior, he stopped being interested.
On the other hand, his barking cut by about two-thirds as soon as I started opening the door and saying "quiet" firmly when he was just trying to make the dogs next door play or for the sake of barking. He was like, "Okay, I didn't realize you cared."
His efforts to make the dogs next door play are kind of sad. He's like the kid who never gets picked for recess.
