Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Am now earwormed with Slade's "Keep Your Hands Off My Power Supply."

I can't believe that's an actual song. I also can't believe that my power supply is the go-to for grabby hands. It's not like I have either the most or the least exposed desk. It's pretty weird.

How is the remote location going to be handled, lisah? I wish you all the clear thinking and speaking in the world.

I gotta go to my 90 minute status meeting in a second. I'm not actually interested in anyone else's status, and only have to speak for five minutes. Joy.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I know, Sophia! I read that in Stephen King's Danse Macabre when I was 13 years old, and have never been able to get that image out of my head.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

when he was high on some substance, looked over at Mary, and imagined her with

There was a movie about this that had that scene. Don't remember the name. It came out in the late '80s?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Random thing for the day (okay, one of the random things for the day): Bowie's Golden Years just came up on my ipod, which made me flash on Knight's Tale, which made me think about Heath Ledger, and now I am sad.

Darn it.

lunch today: veggies and homemade hummus, possibly some more almond butter too. Snack will be the last of the chili lime peanuts, so that is one more jar out of the pantry.

My realtor says both showings were positive, just no idea if either will result in an offer.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Gothic, directed by Ken Russell.

In that scene it was Mary's half sister (and Byron's mistress), but I can't remember who had the hallcuination, Shelley or Byron.
