Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!? Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

So, Sunday is Mother's Day, and if I'm going to send something to my mother it sort of needs to be ASAP. I am plumb out of ideas right now, though. Help?

I just took care of mine-- a humorous memoir about an African Grey parrot and a bottle of her favorite expensive perfume. I might send some flowers, since my mother gets Very Offended if she's not given proper homage on Mother's Day (and her birthday and Christmas and...)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I think flowers are always nice. If you have a mother who likes flowers.

Is she the kind of person who would like flowers? I've defaulted to cut roses the past few years, and my mom was just thrilled with them. Though this year I got her house slippers with gnomes on them.

t edit Flowers x-post!

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Flower of the month? My mom got that from my uncle for X-mas and she loved it.

Yay Jesse!

My cat is yowling. I think it is because it is sort of stormy, plus she is a pretty vocal cat. I am calling her the "baby yowler monkey".

I think my mother would go straight to "You're calling me an old bat?" if I adopted a bat.

The thing about flowers is, her husband will probably do flowers; he's very reliable that way. And my sister is taking her out to brunch.

That reminds me that I have a Groupon for roses -- I should get those for my mother and grandmother. I wonder if they'd give me the deal, but split them into two bouquets with other stuff.
