Best wishes, Kat. I'm a bit freaked just reading it.

Because books.

Coughing up blood! Gracie! Hang in there, Kat.

msbelle, many showing vibes.

Excellent grade, Kathy!

I also want a Topsy-Turvy, even though I'm not the gardener in the house. More like the plant killer. But it looks so cool.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Kat, I hope it's nothing serious! Poor Gracie.

I'm getting the pig!

That definitely does not sound good, Kat. I'm so sorry you (and Grace, of course) are going through this. Poor noodle.

4 of us had to share a lane

Nightmare! I would be swimming into everyone. That's one sure upside to hitting the pool super early in the morning, I suppose. Do you use a swim cap, sara?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

We have the topsy turvy, btw. The strawberry one is bearing fruit, and we also dropped pepper plants and tomato plants in that one. We also have a single whole tomato one.

So far, with the strawberries, it means the berries don't get funny rot nor eaten by animals.

Kids with traches occasionally cough up blood (either from a scratch with suctioning, if there is tracheal thinning from a med or due to extreme dryness). There isn't a lot of blood, but it's fresher than usual, occasionally clotty and not resolving with the usual methods. So she goes to the ENT tomorrow. Sigh.

The two day delay is because they don't discharge on Saturdays and Fridays are too stressy for discharge. So monday it is.

Bear Grylls new show on Discovery is based on the Worst Case Scenario handbooks. I think I'm going to love it.

Circle swim is not my favorite. I tend to not get into the zone.

Yes on the swim cap. Silicon. After a while they start slipping as they stretch out. My head is such that my nape and around my ears get the chlorine treatment after about halfway through, but it is mostly ok. (eta: another of my body parts not compatible with reality. Halfway= 20 someodd minutes.) I clip up that stuff as best I can before putting on the cap, else it slips out. Taken to using tons of conditioner and only shampooing my hair after the swim.

Java's lemons are really the gift that keeps on giving. Tonight is Moroccan chicken with Meyer lemons and green olives. I think I will attempt preserved lemons with the few that remain.

In related news, it's amazing what I can accomplish when I actually leave work on time.
