Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

One of my cousins is in a band that's sort of on the edges of bandom. Note to all: if you ever have the idle thought, "I wonder if there's fic about my cousin," DO NOT GOOGLE. Oh, dear.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I find the gym so deeply boring.

I've started doing sudoku on my phone when I'm on the bike. So far it makes the time pass more quickly.

The use of "actionable" to me "able to be acted on" has become depressingly common. It makes me want to sue someone.

Which is ironic, because in a legal context "actionable" means able to be sued for.

I figured that Ginger was making a funny.

Isn't there figure skating RPF?

I've run across an SGA AU that featured real-life figure skaters as characters.

Trust my rage

I used to really dislike RPF, but then I read some Baseball RPF that was...hard to just ignore because it was so well written and more recently, I read some Doctor Who RPF that I thought was so spot on, it could real.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Working out is EXTREMELY boring. Even though our machines have little tvs in them and I use an ipod. No matter what I'm watching or listening to, I'm still bored. The only time I'm not really bored is when I'm doing ab work on the ball or mat. I think it's the long stretches of time doing one thing that drives me crazy.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looks like the complexity of bandom makes fandom look like kids play. And I'd totally forgotten about popslash. I'd always associated MCR with bandom just because MCR gets mentioned here, but it's not like I know anything. I recently stumbled into MCR Wincest and had to run away screaming. I'm too delicate.

I know too many scenarios in which fic about people I've known would bother me to ever be able to get on board with RPF as a whole. It would have to be explicitly opt in, and with almost every story. Therefore prohibitive.

And if anyone ever ficced me because of where I was standing at the time, I'd go ballistic.

On the other hand, fic about characters people I know have played? I'll totally podfic that for them. I'm helpful that way.

Gack. A 5.8 earthquake was felt in Kingston. Epicentre was off in the ocean, but it's nothing anyone wants to think about right now.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I can't get motivated to just go and work out on the machines.

I go for cardio. Since I use the fitness center at work, it's free and, you know, upstairs. But after about 30 minutes my brain won't stop screaming about how bored I am, even if I'm watching TV or reading a book while listening to music on my shuffle.
