Oh, but I love the long-winded titles! Fall Out Boy has a song called "Champagne for my Real Friends, Real Pain for My Sham Friends," which I think is brilliant.

It confused me when they lost the exclamation point, and I didn't take it out in my mp3s because I wanted them to sort together properly. My answer is much the same as smonster's. In fact, I resisted reading bandom fic for a very long time, and the only bandom fic I read with any regularity is the wacky AU stuff. (Give me fic about MCR and vampires, and I will be a happy girl.)

I'm curious about the term "bandom". It's only some bands that fall under that rubric, right? Does every ardent fan fall into bandom? Every ardent fan that's part of a community? At what point does it tick over and get the title "bandom"?
I've been trying to find something that I enjoy doing in addition to going to the gym, because I find the gym so deeply boring.
Oh me too! Hate it! I joined a gym but only go for spin class (and only from one teacher who I love, other spin classes I've been to have been horrible) and I've been working with a trainer once a week for a couple of months to try to help fix my bum knee. I can't get motivated to just go and work out on the machines.
