Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Right, on a plate, that would still be too much chicken for me in one meal, but the foods together are not weird. They're just not a sandwich.

For sure.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

My co-worker came running into my office the other day and said, "WHAT is this magnificent deliciousness that KFC is doing??" "The double-down?" "YES!! WE. MUST. GET. ONE!!"

I laughed.

Like I said, I am a glutton. I eat STUPID things. And consume way more than I should. And the size of my ass, though rockin', reflects that gluttony. But that IHOP breakfast just looks ... ugh.

For me, I think cheesecake and whipped cream for breakfast sounds nast, but that's because I don't like sweet for breakfast, in general.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Aw, I wish folks would stop moralizing food and eating and food choices. It just leads to nowhere good, mentally.

It's OK to eat stuff! I validate you.

information libertarian

I would eat cheesecake for breakfast! In fact, I am pretty sure I have. Not with pancakes, though.

I mean cheesecake is basically a cheese omelette plus, um, a cup of sugar. The same!

But why in the ever living hell would you need to consume an entire days worth of calories in one sitting?

1200 is a day's worth for a kid, or an extremely restricted diet. t edit x-post-y goodness!

I was actually surprised to hear that the Double Down had less than 600 calories considering it is DISCUSSED LIKE PEOPLE WILL START USING TROUGHS as a next step.

Right? My co-worker was all "Ewwwwww, people are PIGS and this is why there's an OBESITY EPIDEMIC OH MAH GODDDDDDDDD!" and I pointed out the Gawker piece that lists 10 fast-food items with more calories and fat than a Double Down. Three of those items are salads. You know, the "good" food.

Pssssht.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I've definitely eaten cheesecake for breakfast. Perfectly cromulent. Yesterday's breakfast was half a chocolate muffin. Which is a chocolate cupcake with no icing. What's up with the lying?

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I know I've eaten cheesecake for breakfast. Even given the sugar content, it's no worse than a couple of donuts or a stack of pancakes with maple syrup.

It doesn't sound particularly appealing at the moment, but then I'm pretty much fixated on strawberries at the moment.
